it’s all gone by recs of the flesh

…just to clarify our current position: Sara and Petr have both left the band – devastating. we wish them all the best. as of now I am trying to complete our live DVD, as well as demoing new songs. after some turmoil Federico and I have decided to keep going, and we’re trying to find a drummer and keyboardist interested in playing our stuff. so that it’s clearer: there’s no way we’re giving up. we’ve been busy recording new material already, and looking forward to an album in 2012. http://snd.sc/rwOcc8

bad news: it is with a heavy heart that we have to announce Petr’s (temporary?) departure from the line up. we have been looking for a drummer like him ever since we started making music. he has lent his great talents to us with relentless dedication, and for all he’s done for us, we will be eternally grateful. we hope we’ll cross roads again one day, and wish him the best of luck with all of his future endeavors… we are not sure what to do right now, but we plan on taking some time to complete the editing of our live DVD and then see what happens.

the editing for the DVD continues as we’re getting ready to record some new material and trying to book some German dates for this coming September…

a series of articles and interviews have been recently hitting the interwebs and all feature the words of yours truly on display. we are extremely proud of the interview featured on IL FATTO QUOTIDIANO, Italy’s  leading independent newspaper, online thankfully to Pasquale Rinaldis. an in-depth series of Q&A has been published on SENTIREASCOLTARE and conducted by Stefano Solventi:  we’ve been asked some questions (and gave some brutally honest answers) along with 3 other italian bands, focusing on the state of things for the local scene. there’s a hugely cool interview on TARGET AUDIENCE MAGAZINE as well, thanks to Gail Fountain, and last but not least, on a Sardinian weekly publication – LA GAZZETTA DEL MEDIO CAMPIDANO – in yet another interview conducted by Alex Bordigoni. check it out here:

hey everyone, do you like the photo above? thank EATYOURSELF for the nice snap! this is just a quickie to inform you all that the show went pretty well, all considered, and it was really great to finally share the stage all together. we’ve decided it will be our very last show in cagliari for a long, long time BUT – don’t worry – if you did’t have a chance to catch it, we recorded both audio and video in hopes to get a proper DVD release as soon as we can. ain’t that grand? we think so. keep an eye out on our facebook page here: www.facebook.com/recsoftheflesh for more updates. our new album is finally ready for digital download and available on CD via KUNAKI. buyers of the physical copy will be greanted access via a password to a special section of our website (currently in development) which will contain extra download material such as the exclusive MAKING OF documentary* of the recordings between PRAGUE and CAGLIARI. this is how the songs will be released for free on our BANDCAMP account:
